We are excited to welcome Curtis Cannata to The Bailey Group team as a Bussiness Development Coordinator.

Take a moment to get to know Curtis in his own words.

Before The Bailey Group

I attended Florida State University and graduated in 1996 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration and Entrepreneurship for Small Business Management.

After graduation, I worked with American Express as a procurement analyst in New York City. Two years later, I relocated to Atlanta and began my career in the employee benefits industry. The allure of working with small business owners and companies, and helping employees and their families really appealed to me as a way to make a positive impact.

I have earned my Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation and am working towards my full Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) designation.

Discovering The Bailey Group

I first learned about The Bailey Group through my network of insurance representatives. I asked several trusted people the question, “If you were going to relocate to North Florida, which employee benefits firm would you seek out?” Time and time again, The Bailey Group was recommended.

Their leadership, reputation, mission, culture, and community involvement are what ultimately drove my decision to join the team. Of course, the location didn’t hurt either!

I met my lovely wife Aubrey in Atlanta in 1998 and we got married in 2002.

She’s a Gator and I’m a Nole.

We have two fantastic children, Nicholas (10) and Sophia (8) who are very active in sports and the arts. We enjoy traveling, hiking, camping, beach vacations, fishing, and boating. My hobbies include attending football games, golf, NCAA D1 wrestling, mountain biking, adventure racing and CrossFit.

I have been an avid snowboarder since 1994 and my favorite place to ride is Park City, UT.
