Katti Chard, Associate Client Advocate

We are excited to welcome Katti Chard to The Bailey Group team as an Associate Client Advocate. Take just a moment to get to know Katti in her own words …

Before The Bailey Group

I graduated from St. Augustine High School as a third generation Yellow Jacket and since then, I recently graduated from the University of North Florida in December of 2017 where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and minored in Political Science. With a passion to learn, I hope to return to UNF to pursue a Master’s Degree in Health Administration.

Discovering The Bailey Group

I was born and raised in St. Augustine, and always lived on Anastasia Island. Therefore, The Bailey Group has always been a part of my community. I love that they have their roots firmly set here in St. Augustine.

This is my first experience working in the insurance business. I started in mid-September – right in the middle of Open Enrollment for many of our groups – so, my first month was filled with meeting clients and their employees at Open Enrollment meetings and health fairs.

I enjoy spending as much time with my family as I can. We’ve always had a ‘hands-on’ approach to life, so we spend a lot of time painting, building, or learning to do something new. I’m the middle child of three girls and have two young nieces – which means endless laughs and entertainment.

Most recently, I traveled to Costa Rica. My ancestors owned a coffee plantation and established the first education system in San Jose, so it was a huge check off my bucket list. In the near future, I plan to visit Greece and Spain. But, a weekend in St. Augustine is a vacation in itself. I enjoy attending Jaguar games as a season ticket holder, playing golf, being on the water, and good food.
