We are excited to welcome Alexandra Ammenheuser to The Bailey Group team as a Coordinator on our Well-Being & Engagement team. Take a moment to get to know Alexandra in her own words, and you’ll see why we’re thrilled to have her on our team.
Before The Bailey Group
I attended the University of North Florida (UNF) for my undergraduate degree, receiving my bachelor’s degree in political science/public administration in 2013. In 2017, I began studying for my master’s degree in public health at UNF and am slated to graduate in August 2019. This is my first experience working in the insurance business, so I’m excited to get started!
Discovering The Bailey Group
My first interaction with The Bailey Group came after I had the opportunity to participate in some programs that their Well-Being & Engagement team had cultivated on behalf of my employer. Before I began my master’s program, I knew I wanted to work in the public health field in some way. However, I credit my interactions with The Bailey Group team for helping to set my ultimate goal of working in the field of health promotion.
Outside of The Bailey Group
I am a nature lover, as such, I enjoy spending as much time outdoors as possible. My favorite outdoor activities are hiking and backpacking. My fiancé and I try to plan as many multi-day overnight backpacking trips as we can. Fun fact about me: In 2014 I hiked the entire Appalachian Trail which runs from Georgia all the way to Maine. I walked almost 2,200 miles in a six-month span with nothing but a backpack on my back!
When not in the woods or on top of a mountain, I enjoy spending time reading or anything to do with live music.
